OJ had his on brand too. Spot-Built (Saucony). Our high school football, and B-Ball teams had Spot-Built uniforms with the same stripes.

Remember some of these other brands?

Kangaroos (aka Roos) - Walter Payton wore those.

Brooks - Dominique Wilkins wore their basketball brand (although they were more well known for their great running shoes back in the day).

Pro-Keds - Although I know many NBA players wore them, and they were popular at one point, they were played out by the time I started getting into wearing sneakers like that. Around my way, we used to say "Pro-Keds? Fish Heads!"

(Fish Heads = cheap, waaay-off-brand sneakers. The kind you begged your mother not to buy for you. The kind that got you mercilessly clowned on if you were caught wearing them in school. Kids are colder than BGOL.)

Yep! Not only that, but this bitch was also in charge of choosing the Australian team, and she picked herself over the ones who were the best.

Bruh, I'm 58 and I can still do a windmill, spin on my back, and do a bridge freeze. My wife hates it when I do it though. The next morning, my back frowns on my shenanigans!

I pivoted wrong in the kitchen at work a couple of years back in my early-40s and thought I had a small tear in my knee.

All I could think was - "This middle-aged shit is fucked up ..." (with a plate in my hand).

:roflmao3:

I never had a pair but I did have LA gears lightup joints not the tech's either where the light was removeble, then the Ewings and so on and on.

As a kid it was hit or miss, if they had my size I was lucky on popular sneakers cause females were buying kids/mens sizes em changed things.
Then it was a witch hunt....I wasn't able to get all the ones I wanted but I've had my pick but I still want a pair of Bo Jacksons with 34 on the back and Barkley's the second joint with the strap air bubble in the heel

Had 6 pairs of those! Mr. Mixx turned me on to those. The worse use of $800+ ever!!! But, hey, you couldn't tell Tony M.F. Rock shit back then!
Told my older cousins he was messing his ballys up while working on the car. He looked at me a laughed. I learned stunting at 13.

And by the way. I lived 5 min away from the Bally outlet in new Rochelle 100$ a pop. Had the Bally sweaters and vest b

I will not tolerate any Chess King & Merry Go Round slander in this thread! :tut:
No doubt. I use to hit up the one at Kings Plaza. If we talking just shoes, then I mainly went from Buster Browns to BKs then Travel Fox (with the fur) and Clarks then Ballys when I was on my GQ, also rocked those burgandy Tim's. Brooklyn was it's own world. I also rocked 40 belows and I had 1 pair of 90 belows. You couldn't tell me shit lol.
