Few years back but they started with the Rewards card rollout within a year in which you can use at either store. Of course they let DR keep its name because it's such a NY staple but that's really Walgreens

When I moved to philly, the sixers home was the core states spectrum. Then it was first Union. Afterward it was Wachovia. Currently it's well fargo.

CVS bought out Target pharmacies last year - I know someone still working there who complains about the changeover. There really isn't room for "mom and pop" corner drugstores anymore - you either go to CVS or Walgreen's or Walmart or your health care office or a grocery store.
