Yeah - it's been a bit of a mess with the heavy rain from Friday evening all the way into Sunday early-afternoon. Was out driving Sat afternoon and evening and it wasn't much fun, though no areas were severely flooded where I was at. Talked to a number and she said - "Minus whale have a boat today, instead of a car"
We had a similar atmospheric river some years back in the fall season and it did a lot of damage to the flat / farmlands. Flooding houses and crops (about 45 - 60 mins away from here).
Here it's elevated enough with enough drainage. Thankfully.
