They are heavily reliant on resources from other countries to survive. They are stock piling so that if the US does another round of tariffs or sanctions on them, they will be able to have a backup to fall on. Or if they start a war with Taiwan then they have a backup for that also. Keep your eyes and ear alert everyone, next 4 years are gonna get shifty.
