All the kids that basically got choked out, wore retarded looking ties , got yelled at by the elders from back in the days when going to church, catholic school, etc looking at this thread with the angry face..where was you decades ago tie man
I don't know man..... you don't need to be Einstein or have a degree in Mechanical Engineering to tie a neck tie..... you'd use the same amount of brain energy to do that, as you would wrapping one around your neck, the old way...

Knowing how to tie a necktie is required grown-man knowledge. Every man should know how to tie at least a four-in-hand (what he did). But a half-Windsor is preferred.
WHAT EVER works.. I taught my dudes to tie a single windsor by the time they were 9. they are still not big on bowties. But, more importantly, I taught my wife how to tie both just in case I'm not there. Long story short, if your woman can tie one for you.... That's a keeper!!! Never tried his method, but will bring it to Younginz...

Good chance he was in the NAVY, is a fisherman or had a relative who was in the NAVY or fisherman that taught him how to tie various knots.
That took longer than the traditional way
