If you attract 20K people consistently from within and across TX every 1st Friday.......
That's a lot of money going into local businesses......
the population is estimated between 260-270K...... so just under 10% of your cities population
And that $30K was a portion of the tax money received from local hotels...... hotels that were being occupied by people going to FF.......
they never asked if the drag event was associated with FF, they assumed it was and never gave them an opportunity to provide evidence that it wasn't......
