The allegations regarding Los Angeles Lakers main man LeBron James and his supposed tampering with New Orleans All-Star Anthony Davis just won’t go away. This time around, an unnamed NBA general manager has labeled James as a mob boss along with agent Rich Paul.

“I’m not worried about James tampering to the media about AD. It’s that James and Paul are mafioso mob bosses of the NBA that’s the problem,” a Western Conference general manager said, via Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report.

This anonymous executive is obviously unhappy with how much influence LeBron and Paul have on the league, and he has gone to the extent of labeling the duo with a rather unsavory characterization.

It is worth noting that Davis recently signed with Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports, and to most, this is a clear-cut sign that Davis eventually wants out of New Orleans. The fact that Paul is not only LeBron’s sports agent, but also happens to be a close personal friend, makes some believe that the Lakers have now become the front-runners to land Davis if and when he becomes available.

Despite publicly declaring his loyalty to the Pelicans, the fact of the matter is that in 2020, Davis will enter free agency. New Orleans obviously does not want to lose him for nothing, which is why they may actually seriously consider pulling the trigger on a potential deal if an agreement for an extension is not reached.

Whatever the case may be, Paul will definitely have a lot of influence on Davis’ future, which may or may not be a good thing for the Pelicans.

That's funny coming from a cac with a slave owners mentality. Not so funny now when the rabbit has the gun.

They need to get over it and get their 45-65% for doing basically nothing.

Same GM was on cricket status when Kobe hog tied the lake show to the tune of 52 million.

Opt out loc is taking Bill Russell to the next level.

Mark Cuban is the first person that comes to mind as someone who would say that.

Black power scares them.

Scares them ALL.....

what LeBron has started and then copid by KD and numerous other ballers is a paradigm shift...

Players being more in control of their destinies and fortunes....

Its always rough in the beginning, but they will either "get down or get laid down,".... Cuz the lid has been lifted off of Pandora's box and there is no going back

Yup

Let's just be sure to make permanent note of ALL the people you tried to clown and DELIBERATELY misunderstand the Lebron "slave mentality" comment.

Bron has those crackers shook and that's all this comes down to. Not just because of his moves, but how he empowers other players to control their own destiny too.

Technically it's not an inaccurate portrayal. When James left for Miami what did he do? He kept is "decision" under wraps and left to go to Miami without telling Cleveland his preferred destination. Had Cleveland known he wouldn't return and wanted to be in Miami and sign and trade would have been possible and not only would LeBron walk away with more money but Cleveland would have gotten something in return. It's been proven that Miami colluded with James and Bosh (who could have done the same thing) and were penalized by the NBA for doing so. This is NOT new. It's the same thing and Anthony Davis WILL NOT do a sign and trade because LeBron doens't want LA to give NOLA anything. Reality check? LeBron doesn't owe the GMs or other teams shit and they're playing chess.

First time in Cleveland though he pleaded for help and the best they did was getting him Antonie Jamison, meanwhile Boston managed to get Garnett and Ray Allen. After that fiasco he didn’t owe them the common courtesy to tell them anything ahead of time, IMO.
