Last time I was in Ethiopia, before this last civil war mind you, the economy was so fucked in a nation that was "Never Colonized" that you could have multiple women overnight in your place doing anything for less than 5 USD. This was an Ethiopia many times richer than all of the countries on this poorest list. Folks dont know just how bad it is on the continent, and you dont know until you go and see it. You dont see poverty in America like that.
The gap between rich and poor in North America is insane but the gap in Asia, Africa, and Soth America is obscene. In the video a cop took a bribe for a dollar and a half.
That dollar 50 was probably the most he was going to see that month too. Possibly even more. Folks dont have the stomach for Africa.
Africanis a continet not a country so the question should be "what is the poorest nation?".
Africa is the richest continent in the world & The West & China knows it, that's why they would love to keep the populace of African from using their own natural resources.
China in Africa is probably the most dangerous mix. You have a population rich in invention going to a place rich in resources. Scary stuff brewing there.
