Gave up on amusement parks 10 years ago. Never rode the carnival/fair type rides. If you really think about it, them joints sat for nearly 2 years without being used. I'm quite sure they suffered some deterioration from sitting idle and no routine maintenance.
You don't have to give up on amusement parks entirely, but if you're going to go, go to a major one. Those Carnival and fair rides, chalk that shit the fuck up.
I live in Ohio, so Cedar Point is right there. I don't need to go nowhere else - and the Fastpass is a must. I refuse to go to Cedar Point without a FastPass ever again

@Drayonis That looks like the joker ride at Fiesta Texas. Rode it last month when I took my daughter. Scariest ride I’ve rode since I was a kid.

Way back when I lived in The D had many choices State Fair, Edge Water park, Boblo Island and the crown jewel was Cedar Point never had shit happen like this cause MFs never cut corners and made sure mechanic's and operators knew their shit. Times have changed if we go to carnival here in VA it's for the food and games maybe the funhouse or carousel other than that it's Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens.

Man, I grew up on Cedar Point and Geauga Lake. I went to Kings Dominion when I was in the Navy back in the 90s and that shit was mad trash.
