It's past time to throw this gender war to the side and come together as one unit. Solidarity is needed in the Black community. We have to take a stand not only for our sake, but for the sake of future generations!

PS: Black people, I love you!!

Wow, that is scary if you are a black man. I always thought the race card was played too much and I'm black, but when shit like this happens it is eye opening because it could happen to me, you and the cameras won't be around then to say we weren't a threat to the officer. Scary stuff indeed.

Two construction workers — who say they are not from Ferguson, Mo., and do not know the Brown family — were working near where his Aug. 9 shooting took place, and shared how they saw the teen being shot in the back by a pursuing officer.

Two construction workers say they could not believe their eyes when a police officer shot and killed an unarmed teenager whose "hands were up."

A recently unearthed video shows the contractors, who were near the shooting site in Ferguson, Mo., for work, reacting to 18-year-old Michael Browns death at the hands of Officer Darren Wilson about 50 feet away on Aug. 9.

"He had his f---ing hands up," one man says in the footage, as he holds his hands above his head.

The witnesses spoke to "Anderson Cooper 360°" after it obtained the cellphone video and requested their names be withheld.

One man said he saw the young African-American man's "brains come out of his head," reiterating that his "hands were up" in a sign of surrender.

He added that he heard one gunshot, which was followed by another roughly 30 seconds later.

"The cop didn't say get on the ground. He just kept shooting," the witness told CNN.

The other construction worker said that Wilson was chasing Brown and shot the unarmed teen while his back was turned.

Neither witness saw how the incident began, they said.

The contractors said they do not live in in Ferguson or know the Brown family. Their account corroborates that of several other witnesses.

Brown's death sparked a national debate on race relations and police brutality.
