Got one on pre order back in July. Paid like 270.00. Didn't get that loud orange band tho. Took the black one instead. Have order different bands, including the metal one, and different covers for the faces off of Amazon to change up the look depending on mood and occasion.

My bro has the watch. I'm waiting till the 2nd version before I buy one. I do have the galaxy watch 7. Which basically has all the same features as the Ultra without all the bulk

I've seen some of those metal "futuristic" bands that upgrade the look further, but buyer aware. These mock-ups are sometimes AI generated and never get delivered

I updated the link with the correct model number. The tool is rather flimsy with some of these so you have to be careful with the pins. If you do this often to your other watches, I would suggest buying a sturdier tool.

I like the fabric strap that came with it. I know you said you don't want amazon, but i want to show you the ones i was considering.
Most straps have a gap that looks cheap, imo. These are filled in and make the watch look more like a traditional analog watch.
They make gap fillers tho.

I want to get the oura or Samsung ring to be be able to track more consistently. It was weird to get used to sleeping with a watch on, and some days I can't track because I need to charge. Oura is supposed to be more detailed but they've been out longer. I'm hoping the next gen samsung ring is improved.
I don't think I could wear a watch in my sleep.

When you're paying between $400 and a rack for a watch a hunnid is really not much...... if the watch was a hunnid more with a nice band you'd probably think nothing of the extra cost....
