No low post player should ever shoot that low, but he did his ENTIRE career.

In one breath you fault Wilt who has the best stats ever for "disappearing in the playoffs" then dismiss the greatest playoff performer because of his shooting percentage the next. He said it himself in the video.
"Old man" Wilt went thru PRIME Kareem to get 1 of his chips. Jordan couldnt even get to a Final when "Old man" Kareem was in the league. Jordan doesnt play in today's league either. He hasnt played in almost 15 years. And before that 20. In his prime the league was littered with white american players like Mark Price, Jack Sikma, Scott Skiles, Tom Chambers, Danny Ainge, Chris Mullin, Dan Majerle, Frank Brickowsi, Kelly Tripucka, Judd Buechler, etc. Some of these guys were frequent all stars. TODAY, the only white american all star is Kevin Love. And he's a bitch ass Cav that rests.
Go back and look at clips of Jordan dunking over those white guys, soaring thru the air with his tongue out in the 80s & early 90s. He was the most athletic player in the league easily. He was "Air". Today MJ wouldnt even be top 5. The athleticism from the point guards, small forward, and power forward positions is waaaay better than when Jordan entered the league. And "old man" Jordan wasnt even playoff caliber. Jordan wasnt a great or even decent 3 point shooter which is the opposite of TODAY's game. Jordan thrived in the triangle offense, which has proven on 2 different franchises over the last decade doesnt work in TODAY's game.
Just look at his era when more athletic players came into the league his scoring average dropped and his shooting percentage fell below 50%. He started to rely on his fadeaway jumpshot more and trips to the free throw line.
Cats cant have it both ways. You cant act like Wilt & Russell faced all these white boys and MJ didnt. You cant act like the best players guys like Wilt & Russell & Kareem had to face for their chips arent rated higher than the Barkleys, Malones, Paytons, that MJ faced. Bulls didnt see not 1 all time great center in a Final. Not 1. Thats the opposite for Russ & Wilts era were you had to have a Hall Of Fame big in their patrolling the paint, locking shit down to even have a chance. Picking MJ because the game came a long way between the 50's and the 80's/90's. If Jordan was magically transported from 1991 to 1965 he would run rings around everyone and dominate. Can't say for sure about Bill or Wilt if they were magically transported from their time periods to the 1990's. Not saying they wouldn't succeed but would they walk on the court and dominate like they did in their time periods when all of the sudden they'd be dealing with Shaq, Hakeem, etc....plus big ass multi-skilled power forwards ? Unlikely.

Jordan played and won against 1/3 of the 50 greatest of all time, plus won while Iverson, Kobe, Tmac, Vince, Stackhouse, etc.... He dominated 2 generations of basketball players in live competition, with ease.
I am a Jordan fan, but he was so much better than everybody in the league in 98, even I got tired of watching him win. I was actually glad he retired.
It will always be Jordan and Kareem for me, individually and team wise, as the best players of all time. I think Lebron and Karl Malone will go down as the most "productive" players of all time. I never got to see Wilt and Bill play live, but I would assume during a short span, against very few black or tall/athletic players, they were the most dominant players ever.

Bill Russell played in an era where basketball wasn't close to being a global game, with the large talent pool that it eventually had access to decades later.
Furthermore, while it wasn't a rule, teams limited rosters to a few black players, which is why you'll noticed most of the whites in the HOF were from the early days in the NBA, and not as much now.
Russell played in a relatively weak era that discriminated about black players.
