I'm not knocking having standards, but those standards have to be reasonable, at least somewhat comparable to your deficiencies, and kids are a huge deficiency. If you got kid(s) AND you got a broke person's job...nah, I'm good.
No man wants a woman who has someone else's kids. It's like choosing a minimum wage job over one paying $40/hr. Yeah, you might take it if it's your only offer, and if you're desperate...MIGHT, But if you have a lot of plusses and minimal deficiencies, hard pass.
