The locals weren't up to fighting?

It's not just that they weren't up to fighting, it's that the locals supported the revolt.

None of these people supported Assad. Why would they after everything he's done?

Assad's only friends are foreign. Russia, Iran and Hezbollah. That's it!

The locals cheered on the rebels as they rolled in that's why it all happened so fast.

Assad had no friends amongst his own people.
Yeah, this was a bloodless coup. And these type of Coups are easy to do when your own people despise you. In front of my memory the worst coups to do is that the nation love their president i.e. what happened with Hugo Chavez the United States put him in jail, and the people went to jail and broke him out.

There is no win, the US has gathered terrorists to run Syria just like they did in the 80s in Afghanistan. & the United States controlled the take-over of Syria with Turkey/Britain/Israel as their partners.

I can see that you believe the US Mainstream Media propaganda.

Actually everything I just said came from local sources. I'm not from there, but I listen to what THEY have to say, and they all say that while they don't know what the future holds, they are all hopeful, and things could NOT be worse then under Assad's dictatorship. Why do you think Assad had no friends at home? Of course the rebellion was orchestrated. They always are. The Syrian people welcomed it.

It wasn't a rebellion, though. It was a colonial take-over by outside forces; rebellions are generally started from within and not with CIA/MOSSAD/MI-6 based forces. What do you mean Assad has no friends? Israel has really has no friends except for The West namely the United States/Britain/Germany; Israel is pariah state who suckles from the teat of the US. Nothing more, nothing less. & the Syrian people will not be better off under The West's terrorist regime.

I'm not coming at you fam but...

Where was the Arab League when their Syrian brothers and sisters were getting slaughtered by Assad?

Seriously, where were they?

Over 600K killed, over 7 million displaced refugees, over 3 decades of oppression and torture.

Where were they?

Man the Arab league is looking suspect

So I do agree

Yeah listen I'm sorry but you clearly haven't done your research about who is doing the fighting and why. You don't know the different rebel groups and their history.

The fighting is done by different rebel groups and the fighters themselves are Syrians. They arent new groups, they fought in the last civil war and lost. Some groups got funding and training locally, some got it from Turkey, some got it from Israel and some got it from the West. What's new is that they allied themselves under a new leadership (HTS). The leader of HTS was born in Saudi to two Syrian parents and has Syrian citizenship. He's the guy who is a former Al-Queda but says he is reformed.

And yes, Assad had no friends amongst his countrymen. Why do you think the rebels faced no opposition?

Again, you believe the US Mainstream media, the US's goal has always been to topple Assad and not the Syrian people's goal. The US is solely toppling Syria for Israel and that's it. & as for the HTS leader, that terrorist had a 10 million dollar bounty on his head put there by the US; but now, he's reformed? Nahhhh. The US and Israel and The West in general supports terrorism and cares nothing about the Syrian people. If they cared about the Syrian people then the US Military wouldn't have colonialized Syrian's oil fields and wheat fields, thus helping impoverish the Syrian people.

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and wake up.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight...

So can you explain why you lied about the rebellion not being led by Syrians? You can take it back. Or you can tell me who are the rebels groups who rolled through Syria.

Oh and I'm not letting you duck my very straight forward question. Why did none of Assad's countrymen defend him?

The take-over of Syria was led by the United States, you're delusional and you lack information to think any so-called rebels lead this. This is a USA operation from the beginning, those terrorist hoards are only pawns in the game. & you believe the US mainstream narrative, like I said keep drinking that Kool-Aid.

So you can't name or break down who the rebel groups are and you can't name any of Assad's Syrian allies?

Figures.

If you knew anything about this you would be answering specific questions. But you running away instead, gives you away. This was a waste of my time.

You have broken nothing down, all you can say is 'rebel this' and 'rebel that', you can't even name Ahmed al-Sharaa. Anyway, all of these groups are controlled by the USA/Israeli/Britain alliance aka The West, that's the most important thing to know. I keep my eyes on the prize of who really controlling the chess board, because a pawn is a pawn is a pawn. It's the United States controlling Syria with the help of a bunch of proxies it controls.

I'm not running away from nothing, all you do is to spew what you heard US Mainstream Media says.
