You probably won't. They're still struggling to get it into wide release. It's taken a grass roots effort to get into limited "midnight show" release.
The film was originally gonna head straight to DVD and then it was gonna be remade with bigger Hollywood stars (after Spielberg saw it), until it became a festival hit and was left the way it was (with a better ending, suggested by Spielberg).
It was made back in 2007 and deserves credit for simply EXISTING at all, nevermind being such a potential cult favorite. Shows you what you can do with just an idea, a camera and NO money.

All this limited release crap was just to hype the crappy movie. I went to see it with the wife and the crowd was basically (IMO) hyping themselves into being jumpy and screaming like in the ad. It seems like marketing 101 to me. The flick is on irc for easy download without buying mu or rs

the movie is garbage, the acting is horrible and the whole film is just cheap, I guess they figured they would use a camcorder and film that shit to make it seem more realistic, but the flick is whack and tries to scare you with anticipation of not nowing, within the first 45 mins of the film not a damn thing happened except for a door moving

prob the worst movie of the last 3 to 5 years including legend of chung-li, terrible acting, terrible build up of suspense, terrible pacing, just plain old terrible. how are people in the trailers flipping over chairs and shit acting like the just saw Lucifer in the flesh. i wish i could meet any "Man" who was scared by this so i could kick him in his Vagina

Which 150M movie are you referring to, none that I've seen, I'd rather watch the Love Guru than sit through this disasterpiece again. Shit was unmitigated garbage and goes to show how pussified the American public has become that they are scared of this garbage. The Spanish-made Rec was infinitely better, come to think of it, so were The Ring and The Grudge and both of those have their roots in foreign movies. American horror has been garbage since after The Shining.

Spent money on tickets for me, my future babymomma, and her little brother(R.I.P.). Not to mention popcorn and hot dogs and other assorted overpriced shit bitches feel the need to have you waste money on just because. I remember that shit like it was yesterday.
