I haven’t read this article, but I am sure what it says. The Trump Administration ignored the CDC’s objections about letting those American passengers out of quarantine on the cruise ship to fly back to the states. And they flew all 300 Americans to the United States on the same plane with the 14 infected passengers. The infected passengers on the plane weren’t adequately quarantined away from the non infected. Once back in the states the uninfected were let go. One of those passengers from Redwood City, CA ended up testing positive for the coronavirus. It’s no telling how many people are infected now being as though this person and others were walking around the population with the virus in its incubation period. To make matters worse the big dummy for Redwood City was talking about he felt fine and wasn’t sick. What a dunce.So... we got a new patient diagnosed with the virus in northern California..... she hasn't traveled… how the fuck did she get it? Let me tell you something.... Federal health employees interacted with Americans quarantined for possible exposure to the coronavirus without proper medical training or PPE then scattered into the general population. Those health workers had been sent to receive Americans evacuated from China and then came back into the general population. They were deployed to two military bases in California that house those quarantined Americans....one of them being Travis Air Force Base.... located in the same county that.... wait for it.... the new patient just happened to pop up in....

Coming to America soon
I'm looking to see how many cases show up in Nigeria since one case was reported there. It's like 100 degrees. So if it's supposed to be less deadly or disappear (Trump) during warmer months, we'll see. If they get several cases then we're really screwed.
why listen to Trump? Singapore is tropical weather. That doesn’t stop them from testing, tracing and quarantining. Wishful thinking and hope won’t help fight this. Testing is not going on here en masse. Frequent travelers between the U.S. and here as well so it’s just a matter of time basically.
I don't believe him, even though regular flu viruses are less prevalent in warmer weather. (I am also not wishing death on folks or for the virus to spread to prove him wrong.) However, since there is now a case in a warm climate with temperatures above what most places get here, I am noting it will be useful as an area to watch to either give folks hope and us some time to get things together as it is getting warmer, or dispel the myth since so many folks are repeating what he has said as an excuse not to take precautions. A bellwether/canary in the coal mine so to speak.
that’s a huge gamble to take. How long before warm weather arrives? In the mean time I would expect all countries to do as China, South Korea etc are doing once the numbers start to get out of control: banning of gatherings, asking/telling people to stay indoors for long periods.
You can wait on the weather but I would advise you take precautions in case things get to that point. Buy supplies incase you can’t leave your household for a few weeks. Buy canned goods before there is a rush on stores by the general public. Some gloves, disinfecting wipes.
You misunderstand, I'm not waiting on it to act. My sister and I just had the supply discussion tonight and I sent her the videos in this thread earlier. I just mentioned it because it has been on my mind as I'm concerned about OTHERS are not taking it seriously because of what Trump has said and all the misinformation. Like Bill Maher said, we're dealing with folks who might decide not to wash their hands to "own the libs".
Trump said that nonsense so I've been checking temps of places with a lot of cases. When I was checking temps for other places like Italy and Iran and even China, temps were all 60 or below. Nigeria was the only one I checked that had high temps. There may be others since 60 countries have reported cases, but the countries I've listed are the ones I've checked.
