I still see people n masks around here from time to time, and I see a few stores that must have it back as policy, since the employees are all/mostly wearing them.
The funny thing is, popping a mask on when you don't feel well or think you're at risk is a scientifically sound thing to do. The sad irony is that, culturally, too many people in this country have been conditioned to resist it as some sign of fear or weakness.
Meanwhile, I'm probably looking at seeing if I can get another booster, because I work with and around people that make too many poor choices. And I'm going to get myself back into at least some kind of mask wearing pattern. I just know too many immunocompromised people to act like it's okay to put them at risk.
