"WW C"- COVID-19, GLOBAL CASES SURPASS 676 MILLION...Here we go again 2025 are we ready for Trump to fuck this up again?

the mrs went way overboard with it. spent about 400 bucks last week then went back out today and spent about 180 more.

Did she notice any good prices, or were things marked up or out of stock? The meat section was nearly empty locally ... mostly picked up pasta, fish, oranges, bananas, frozen veggie medley (assorted peppers & onions), coffee, yogurt, etc.

everything was normal priced. the only thing we didn't get out of the shopping was ground turkey.

Glad to hear prices were fair. Noticed some of the major grocers / grocery retailers were saying they would not be price gouging at this time, but noticed a number of things weren't sales-priced either. On a side note, I'm glad a number of stores offer ad/price matching with their competitors. Very frustrating when you see weekly flyers for stores advertising their "sales" ... and the prices they list are considerably more than what you buy the same stuff for at your regular store(s). Or the stores which have those sales kick in only after you've bought 3 or 4 of the item.

NY requested 25 million surgical gowns and he is up there bragging about providing 60K :smh: :smh: :smh:

Reminds me of flu shot season. I was talking to a pharmacist at one of the busiest grocery stores in the city back in late-November. Asked him how the supply and demand was going. He noted he had requested 1000 flu shots for the store on his most recent stock-up. They were merely delivered 100, and had 4 available at that time.
