I was coming in this thread to say exactly this, spiderman wasn't really even in the running Allen wake 2 was clearly the other game in competition for GOTY
I think TOTK is also leagues ahead of spiderman, spiderman is basically the same as it's predecessors in every way, not to say that isn't great, just nothing to write home about.
