Plus it was digital only which was weird.
I know a lot of people say stuff like this but Exoprimal gets better the further in you go and the game opens up a bit. And by better I'm talking gameplay cause the "story" is absolutely trash, but I was just there to shoot dinosaurs with my crew.

Outside of being in suits its nothing like Anthem. Its more of a arena horde shooter with pvp mixed in so PvPvE essentially. Its closer to a mix of Overwatch and Gambit from Destiny 2. What you do in the first few hours is really like a long ass tutorial. The game eventually starts putting you into raids and big ass boss fights with the other team. I played it on gamepass and was pleasantly surprised the longer I played.Exoprimal..isnt that just Anthem with dinosaurs..?
