Beloved Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee sat down recently with GQ magazine, giving in an exclusive interview for the February ‘Love, Sex & Madness’ issue, and in it he comes clean about his recent sex scandal.
He confessed his penchant for gay prostitutes in a riveting radio interview four months ago, but Mister Cee remains adamant he's not gay.
In a new interview with GQ magazine, The Hot 97 DJ described his interest in transgender hookers as an eccentric, kinky obsession.
"Absolutely not," he told GQ when asked point-blank if he's gay.
"And it's nothing — it's no offense to transgender women, but I only get with transgender women for one thing and one thing only, and that's for oral sex," he said. "Like I said: I never had sex with a man. I never had sex with a transgender woman."
The beloved 47-year-old deejay, whose real name is Calvin Lebrun, said he's remained single since a video of him soliciting sex from a man in drag surfaced online last September following multiple arrests for solicitation and public lewdness.
"At this point in my life, I can't even begin to try to be in a serious relationship with a woman," Lebrun told GQ. "That's the point that I'm at now: What do I want? Where am I at? Now that it's out in the open — everybody knows, I know — where am I going from here?"
Though these and other questions remain, he said it was clear his illegal behavior had to stop.
"If I get arrested right now for that same type of activity, I'm doing 60 days in jail, hands down, done," he told GQ.
The wide-ranging interview, shared exclusively with the Daily News ahead of next month's issue, delves into Lebrun's sexual history and the start of his walk on the wild side.
He said his interest in paid sex began after a girlfriend broke his heart in 2000.
He gravitated to strip clubs to numb the pain and started having sex with the staffers, he said.
Lebrun moved on to the "other thing" — the cross-dressing prostitutes — around 2005 or 2006, he said.

He told GQit wasn't a long-held fantasy, rather a convenient "rush" he could get on Christopher Street, a couple blocks from the Hot 97 offices.
"The best way I can explain it is that I was so knee-deep into doing it that it became a part of me," he said.
"You know, one plus one equals two. You get horny, go out, go get your s--t off. It became a part of my routine," he said. "Even though I was fearful, there was a part of me that felt invincible, too."
He said when he was busted for public lewdness with a man in 2011, and the incident made the Daily News, he felt like his life was over.
"Literally dead, in the casket, in the coffin," he told GQ.
"I would buy 2-liter Fanta Orange, 2-liter Sprite, 2-liter root beer — and I live by myself — just guzzling them. That's how I was getting through my pain, f---king going to sleep and drinking soda. And I'm not even a soda drinker. I drunk so much soda to the point where my diabetes — my sugar level went so high, I started getting blind," he said.

Cops busted him again last May, but he continued to duck questions.
"It wasn't even about losing the job. I was just afraid of what the perception was going to be about me and that people was still going to want to stand behind the Mister Cee brand," he told GQ.
When blogger and drag queen Bimbo Winehouse released a video in September showing Lebrun negotiating a price for oral sex, the New York radio titan immediately resigned from Hot 97.
But the next day he was back on the air, trying to explain himself to fans.
"I know that I'm still in denial, because I know that I love women. Any woman that's been with me know that I love women. But occasionally I get the urge to have fellatio with a transsexual, a man that looks like a woman," he told listeners. "And then I'm sitting here saying, 'But I'm not gay,' because I haven't penetrated another man."
Lebrun told GQ he's trying not to take things personally anymore, saying he even forgives North Carolina rapper J. Cole for joking about him on his latest album.
And the local legend who helped hip hop stars like the late Notorious B.I.G get their start said he's confident Biggie would support him if this happened 20 years ago.
"Oh, I know that," Lebrun told GQ. "I know Big stands next to me. I have no question in my mind."
