This is the second time in a month that somebody made it over the gate.
It shouldn't be that easy to do. You would think that they would have a shoot on site order.

I walk past the entrance to the white house every day to get to work. There are always 4-6 guards outside the fence and the bars between the fence might be like 12 inches at best. There are always A LOT OF TOURIST there and a couple of mainstays - a white dude with long hair who puts his middle finger up all day and has a bullhorn saying crazy stuff, an old white dude who has a laptop and speakers who just plays propaganda all day and oddly enough a big group of Jehovah's witnesses that pass out flyers.
I say this to say they ALWAYS have at least 2 K-9 units and random other cops there too…like park police. When I say unless you're spiderman, it's pretty impossible to climb that fence quick enough to get over it (thin, straight bars) and make the 50+ yards to the entrance sight unseen….nah.
They have rooftop secret service agents with guns that just point down all day AND there is a 2 gate entry system on 2 sides. You get buzzed in to a little center…then you get checked then they buzz you into the main area of the white house - they got a side for press and feds and the other side is mainly an exit for white house tours.
The math ain't adding up…
