He is a scoring machine. Average lackadaisical defender but his scoring more than makes up for it and that is what they need from him.

Check his stats on the defensive side of the ball. He's no defensive stopper you throw at a team's best offensive threat, but dude isn't the defensive liability he was in years past.
This... they moved the goalposts on Harden.
One year it's best player, best team then the next it's about individual stats.
Everyone was clownin Steph's All-Stars vs LeBron's but Harden good for 45 easy. Great performance.
With all them being out Harden should have dropped more than 60 then. He should have tried to break Kobe 81 record.
