Take your cotton candy grapes to self checkout

-and I thought I was sumthin' with my bing cherries...

Yeah.
My store has been selling them again this year.
But those shits went up about $3 from last year.
To like $9/lb this year.

And they really need to stop putting that "Non-GMO" logo on the packaging.
It's straight-up GMO "Designer Fruit" to me anyway.
As are Plumcots, Pluots, and other specialty fruit that's become popular within the last five years.
Though word in the Food Industry claims that "hybrids" like this don't necessarily qualify as "GMO"

Could be wrong,

Whole foods was my first thought for an allegedly expensive weird item … Costco just ran out of them …. literally ….. 3lbs/$10.99 …. and the lady I spoke to said that no Costco in the northeast has them now ...

The self hate is real

They don't have any sugar added to them dude

Your ignorance is real...as well as your hard belly gut. Do yourself a favor and read some shit other than BGOL. Maybe you'll learn that regular grapes already have sugar naturally (doesn't mean it's good for you). This shit is some genetically designed grapes with a higher natural sugar content. And just like that nasty-ass fruity Hennessey, Black folks are all on it.

No one is saying don't eat grapes. Just know when you're eating the equivalent of silicone-injected ass...

you dont weight it...leave it in the buggy...

They give the grapes flavor with cross pollination.

In this, the age of the "Google" (is it disabled on your computer man ?) the truly ignorant …. still …. show their ignorance … :smh: …. siiiiiigh …. this is exactly the how and why as to how stupid ass conspiracy theories are started and spread

"How much sugar is in Cotton Candy grapes?"

Cotton candy grapes taste remarkably like cotton candy. The initial burst of sweetness is followed by a mild, juicy flavor. These grapes are fat free, cholesterol free, and sodium free. A half-cup serving consists of 50 calories and 14 grams of sugar which is similar to green and red grapes.
Keep in mind fruit contains naturally occurring sugars and is packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber and phytonutrients to promote good health.

"How do cotton candy grapes taste like cotton candy?"

Cain and his team at International Fruit Genetics in Bakersfield, Calif., made the Cotton Candy grape by hybridizing two different grape species. So the designer fruit is actually a hybrid — like pluots, peacharines and cherums. "We already have other varieties that taste like strawberry, pineapple or mango," he says.Aug 6, 2013

"And he's doing it without genetic engineering or artificial flavors. Just good old-fashioned plant breeding.
