Julien Alfred WINS GOLD IN THE WOMEN'S 100M Gabby Thomas Sha'Carri Richardson , Shericka Jackson, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce

Some results of the Ed Murphy classic. Don't have all the marque names and certainly a smaller event. It's funny Smokey didn't she up. You would think the one person who barely ran any races this year would want to put in some more work. At least to build up some confidence to close the season out.

i think they kool off the track tho ,,,

Thanks for the updates. Big crowd at the event. And I see a lot of young talent coming up. What have these other countries doing to grow the sport and have so much fan engagement? I know it's been that way for a while in some places. Just keep thinking how this would be a great time for the U.S. to look into investing more in the sport. I don't mean keep the status quo, but come to the table with some new ways to promote the sport.

Got a question for the cats in this thread. Who do you think is better off...A possible future #1 pick of the WNBA(Paige Buekekers) or an up and coming track under 20 medalist(Twins)?

Dam if tht US chick didnt hit the hurdle it would have been 1, 2 ... smh

dam no US woman in the finals ...?

I`m more shocked at that than Britain winning it`s 1st gold ...

shitty coverage if u ask me n holding the shit Oregon ...smh

yeah good ratings but imagine if the shit was in a big city on the east coast how much better the shit would have been..?

True..I think of several cities that would be good host. The article mentioned something I been saying is a problem. The athletes or forgotten about between Olympic/WC events. You have to keep there names a stories out there. I think one way is another 1 or 2 big events. And include some other entertainment aspects to it. Maybe have some celebrity races thrown in between a few races. Could be current or most likely former athletes included. Just brainstorming..what ever the case. They haven't done much to keep fans engaged past the 2 major world events.
