It’s really sad. A brotha used to work at target in cali. Y’all know u have to wear red as part of the uniform. I used to walk home in that and red hyper flights. I look back on that and think my silly ass shoulda brought a backpack with a change of shirt and shoes. Lol young and dumb back in the day.

Imagine getting lifted off this planet because some guy who didn’t learn discrimination while simultaneously couldn’t protect himself but could endanger someone else.

If these kids were protected they wouldn’t engage in this behavior. These children aren’t even having their basic needs met. How can we pretend to be of a community if we can’t foster the growth of families?

Good luck with that you never know when you going to run into these niggas. I was at the Beverly center and a group of about 10 Bloods were lounging in the middle of the plaza trying to holler at hoes. I ain’t about to explain shit to these dumb asses and escalate a situation.

I don’t think I can’t be touched I just play the odds. I got family there I know how it is. I done been jumped and packed out by them niggas before but that’s when I was trying to be around that element and be in those politics.

A lot of this is overblown. If you don’t look like you bang and don’t invite problems, you will be ok. If someone walks up on you and ask where you are from, just tell them you are from out of town and don’t bang.

Funny story on how i met Nip lol

2012 all star break we headed to after party off sunset. My homie is in the fashion and nightlife scene in LA so we’re waiting for his call, to get in the club when we see a back door open so we rush it. We make it in and walk straight to the bar to blend in but we just felt the whole room was starin at us so we startin scannin the room. That’s when we notice Nip on the couch wit like 2-3 girls and about 6/7 niggas around him. We lock eyes like oh shit that Nip, while he start grab his homies attention to peep us. These niggas muggin and shuffling so i look at my homie like damn why they on us like that. That’s when i realized this nigga had on grey Levi’s, teal chucks, a teal and grey sweater and matchin SF giants fitted smh while I’m wearin blue foams, black jeans, black north face and black n blue Orlando hat. I’m aware of the politics so i tell bro they on us cause yo hat cause theythink we may be Hoovers. Bro like man we finna go smoke wit this Nigga so they’ll chill. We head to their booth, now realizing we snuck straight to vip lol. Bro like my bad we didn’t come thru like that we just seen the door swing so we hit that bitch. Nip was like it’s good homie i was just tryna figure what y’all was on cause it’s lot goin on in the city. He gave bro the same run down about the hat to explain why his homies was trippin once we told him we were from SF. Chopped it up wit him for a few , he hit the blunt and we spun off and started gettin on hoes
 
Crazy thang is that there are sooooooo many more that weren't even mentioned. Duroc sport the Detroit hat. Leave LA, go to Pomona and now that Michigan hat is for Pomona Mafia, etc etc. Safest ish is to just wear a Nike swoosh hat or a neutral hat like a plain "LA" logo Dodger hat in black and white.

But in reality, it's all in God's timing. I've been in crip hoods with a Phillies hats (not on purpose) and it was all good. You can be ANY WHERE. It's gonna come down to who wanna trip and who don't but for the most part....Def stay away from Astros and Yankees. The rest is gonna be a hit and miss.

My cousin got "lifted up off this planet" wearing his red McDonald's shirt riding his bike home. And that was in "safe" Denver, Colorado. Shit is stupid

There was a young kid in the city last year that was shot in his doorway with his sister. They were coming home in an Uber from McDonald’s. Two young kids gotta dodge bullets after a long day at work.

My child just went to another funeral a few months back of a friend. A best friend. The kid was only 17. 17.
