Tesla’s Main HQ is still Texas. Engineering has always stayed in California which is the center for Tech and AI technology.

Manufacturing and most of operations has still been moving from California for the tax advantages and looser regulations. This was a chess move. It helps Newsom look good and Elon gets back good with Democrats.

Nah man. The engineering at the old HQ campus is mainly AI and software development. The Battery Technology and Manufacturing are the primary parts of Teslas business currently and that is moving more to Texas and Nevada. Both Elon(CEO) and Zach Kirkhorn (CFO) live in Texas by the real HQ.

Nothing goes on in Texas. Elon didn’t develop anything. He bought all the engineers who came up with all the technology. He’s a terrible business man with no talent. The people who matter aren’t him.

Based off talent they got elsewhere that has nothing to do with Texas other than it being a location. The best talent comes from California and they ship it there. The government he hates so much kept Tesla afloat. Had nothing to do with him. Billions worth of Subsidies to encourage electric cars kept them alive otherwise he’d have to file for bankruptcy. Tesla wasn’t making shit for years. In fact they were losing hundreds of millions every quarter. He got saved by the federal government. All his companies did.

Before Elon- Tesla was not profitable. They raised only 7.5 million(6.5 million was Musk's).
Currently, at 639 Billion, Tesla is the 6th most valuable company in the US by Marketcap.

How much more in "subsidies" were offered to Tesla than their competitors? The answer is none. All US manufacturers got offered the same amount of EV credits.

He didn’t “lose” the money. Tesla’s valuation was at its highest point in November and was the 2nd most valuable company in the US. Now it is the 7th. With his so much of his net worth being invested in Tesla, it will fluctuate a lot. He also invested money in Twitter and working to make it profitable. Y’all really be falling for these headlines.

Considering they were the first major electric car company nobody at the time were producing full EV’s . They have received over 3 billion from California alone since the late 2000s. They also got another 4-5 Billion from the Feds and a half a billion dollar low interest loan.

He borrowed against Tesla stock to buy over priced Twitter then Tesla stocked plummeted. He didn't invest in Twitter he bought it. Twitter wasn't making any money and still isn't. Billionaires don't actually have a billion dollars cash. His worth is tied up in his companies. You on the band wagon homie.

Those subsidies were available to everyone. Multiple auto companies received subsidies but Tesla was able to produce in volume faster than the other US companies. Honestly, you are parroting talking points. Elon is doing an unbelievable job as a CEO and Tesla is way ahead of the "competition". Did you know that pretty much all the other auto companies are actually LOSING money on their EVs? Yes this includes Ford, Stellantis, GM, Lucid, Rivian and VW. BYD is getting press because they include their Hybrids in the numbers. Tesla is a great investment opportunity. Don't let these CACs talk you out of the opportunity because of their politics. I actually know folks that work at that Fremont plant and they love it.

Tesla's main headquarters is remaining in Austin. Much of Tesla's Battery Engineering has been on Kato Rd in Fremont California this whole time. The only thing that has changed is that they are taking over the old HQ space and naming the division publically.
