Eh...that may be splitting hairs. Still gotta establish a meaning for "intelligent" in intelligent design.
We humans are probably the 3rd or 4th evolution/iteration of humanity and/or civilizations that eventually embraced monotheistic faiths. The fact that all these faiths have very very similar stories and references is suspect. IMO, current religion is a tax-free business. Just my 2cents...

Persian
Greek
Roman
Now it is the American empire. This is the important world history. All these empires were taken down by the next. Egypt taken down by Babylon. Babylon taken down by Persians. Persians taken down by Greeks. Greeks taken down by Romans. If you a true historian you are very familiar with these empires. They shape the world as we know today. If you know these you can’t believe the Bible is fake because the most important and influential empires in history all have biblical accounts.
That’s it. No other empire has controlled the entire world as in the neighboring empires were paying tribute and taxes to it because the leading empire had military bases all over. You probably can really take Egypt off of that list because Egypt never had a extensive empire.
