I thought the dynamic worked because it allowed Jess to showcase her strengths with comedy. To me she struggled with the other parts such as reading and interviewing.

To me L presence hide Jess weaknesses. Shannon Sharpe had to learn to and improve his speech and articulation. Jess got in her feelings and probably fucked up
