Israeli Prime Minister's Office announces the return to war in a statement:

'Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have instructed the IDF to act with force against the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip.

This decision comes after Hamas repeatedly refused to release our hostages and rejected all proposals received from the U.S. President’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, and the mediators.

The IDF is currently striking Hamas terrorist targets across the Gaza Strip, aiming to achieve the war objectives set by the political leadership, including the release of all our hostages—both the living and the fallen.

From now on, Israel will act against Hamas with increasing military intensity. The operational plan was presented last weekend by the IDF and was approved by the political leadership.'

‘Surprise and shock’ in Gaza after heavy Israeli attacks

Reporting from Deir el-Balah, central Gaza
The Israeli attacks came as a surprise and shock for people in the Gaza Strip.
Most of the people were actually sleeping and woke up from the sound of the massive bombardment.
This ceasefire was very fragile, with at least 150 Palestinians killed during the past two months. But still, Palestinians were not expecting this.
It’s Ramadan, and everyone’s fasting. The expectation here was people would at least spend the last days of Ramadan without any air strikes.
There are a lot of people missing and trapped under the rubble. Meanwhile, we have received information that Israeli authorities restricted all the medical evacuations of Palestinians that used to happen every day through the Rafah crossing.
Palestinians are very desperate, and parents are scared

The Israeli regime army resumed military operations against the besieged Gaza Strip last night, carrying out extensive airstrikes on various areas. The recent Israeli aggression, dubbed "Strength and Sword," has thus far claimed the lives of over 412 Palestinians and injured more than 500 others.

— The Arabic spokesperson for the Israeli army, announced the immediate evacuation of border areas in Gaza adjacent to occupied Palestine. Residents have been instructed to move to the western parts of Gaza City and Khan Yunis. The Israeli regime has classified the areas of Beit Hanoun, Al-Khuza’a, and the outskirts of Abasan as “dangerous war zones,” urging residents to leave their homes without delay.

The military actions began after negotiations between the Israeli regime and Palestinian resistance failed due to Israel’s unreasonable demands. During these negotiations, Israel and the United States requested that Hamas release all Israeli prisoners unconditionally, without offering any guarantees or commitments to end the conflict. Hamas representatives rejected this proposal.

In response to the ongoing situation, the Hamas movement has called on the United Nations and the Security Council to convene an urgent meeting and adopt a binding resolution to halt the Israeli aggression.

With the new irrational U.S. president taking office, Israel perceives an opportunity to escalate its actions against the Palestinian people and is taking advantage of this situation.

@peter.parker1 looks like an air blockade is being established also…
I think this airport is the main location that cargo enters occupied Palestine

“ NEW: The Yemeni Armed Forces announce that Ben Gurion Intl. Airport is not safe for travel, and says it will remain a target until the aggression against Gaza stops, and they call upon all airlines to stop flying to and from Ben Gurion”

they started that shit late during the conflict those ceasefire talks stopped them to go further back then but now that Israel has resumed its attack all those previous plans are back I guess, plus like everyone in the region Houthis know that Israel militarily it’s just the aviation so they started by bombing the Nevatim air base.

Edit:
if successful and like Eilat port the International Ben Gurion airport goes bankrupt Houthis will be the ones ,who clearly brought Israel’s economy on its knees !
