Hell yes. Dr. J couldn't shoot and was a perennial playoff choker. Giannis is a Finals MVP, was Dr. J? No, he was a bridesmaid for Moses Malone. Dr. J is a better ambassador to the game than Giannis, but that's bout it. Nobody 20 years from now will even say his name. Moses Malone birthday was early this week and Philly boy Jawnswoop didn't even care. That's how all the old heads are gonna be in a decade. Very little before Bron's career will be remembered or celebrated. Modern era=2003 and after.

I don’t have a problem with how he’s playing defense but it needs to be consistent. They don’t let folks play defense like this anymore

I've never even heard of anything but "clutch points"-- it's as if nothing but points even exists in the clutch. Every other statistic vanishes.

The NBA should mandate that their partners make 20% of all highlights and game-related conversation defense focused.
 
I notice Gary Payton II tied for 5th on that list. Probably plays less minutes than the others, too. You won't see some so-called Warriors fans around here giving him props but he's been a key piece of what success they've had this decade.
