Im team Obama but what would folks have said, even on here, if Trump got in a room full of black men and called them sexist for not being excited about Kamala?
Obama has spent his life lecturing black people from a position of authority that only existed by virtue of having a white mom. I dont begrudge him of this fact, but we also must acknowledge it. Trump gets away with a lot of shit Obama couldnt, but the same is also true in the opposite direction in terms of our community.

Maybe it's because you see him as black man with more wealth and intellect, therefore when he speaks you see it as he's "lecturing from a position of authority". Maybe your emotions are coming from a place of jealousy because you feel a black person shouldn't be in a position he's in or talk the way he does.
Its always been that way, and the fact that folks try to act brand new when you call it out is a sign of the privilege he holds in the community. From the popeyes speech, to the lecturing of black men at the commencement at Morehouse, to having that racist cop for a beer with skip gates after he racially profiled him outside his own house, to speaking down on brothers working for Kamala. It is obviously something he does.
Theres a reason why Jesse Jackson called him out on the hot mic when he was running in 08. Barack speaks down to black people. Whether or not we DESERVE it is an entire other matter, but it is a characteristic of him.
Also the idea that we, as Barack implied, are sexist is simply silly. No other men, en masse, defer to women in this country as much as we do. We dont have the power to be sexist in this country. Our women dominate every institution where we could think to hold power, and we are the only group of men who can say that in this country.

Why would he have did that between 09-17? There was no reason for folks to work from at that point. It would just be hurting local businesses. Theres a reason why Biden wanted folks back in office too.

People have been wanting to telework for at least the past 15 years, especially when they've shown that they could do their jobs from home in times of inclement weather.
Benefits to teleworking are increased moral, employees tend to do more work to visually show that teleworking helps productivity and is not a hindrance to it.
Also reduced traffic which reduces stress and slows the effects of global warming. Reduced consumption of Earth's natural resources. Less stress and pollution on the environment.

During Obama's time in office, federal employees were able to telework at the discretion of their agency. If Obama had mandated it, it would have caused HUGE logisticstical problems.

He, Kamala, Andrew Tate are numerous examples of prominent "Black" leadership who are really just not from the community by virtue of dads running out on them. Obama cant call black men sexist though because that isnt our culture. Black men, more than any other group of men, are ok with being subordinates to women. We dont have the economic power NOT to be. Black men also have voted, overwhelmingly, for a woman on the major ticket each and every time except once, when the woman was vp going against him in 2008. He has no right to call black men sexist.
Obama spoke about black men who voted for him but refused to support Kamala because she was a woman. His words were not directed at brothers working for Kamala.
The only black men who he spoke down to or implied was sexist were the coons who voted for Trump and the idiots that stayed home or voted third party.
That number was so insignificant that it doesnt even deserved to be spoken to. Kamala, overwhelmingly, had the support of black men.
He would never speak that way about white men(which he is just as much is as he is black) or the white women(who raised him) who supported trump in greater numbers than black men ever would.
He was wrong there, and is diminished his legacy in the black community.
