Who's gonna be the better pro...Tim Tebow or Tyler Hansbrough?

Which one of these cats will have the better professional career? Is there a place in the NBA and NFL for Hansbrough and Tebow respectively? Or will both be colossal busts?

I think Tebow could POSSIBLY have a solid career on the right team...especially with everybody running the wildcat every week.

I'm not so sure about Hansbrough...I know he "plays hard", but that may not be enough. He's about the same size as Carlos Boozer, but has nowhere near the offensive skills. I guess he could contribute like a David Lee.

What y'all think?

Not even close!

Tebow is gonna get his ass torn up in the NFL!

NFL QB is the Hardest JOB in all of Pro Sports, going up against 11 elite well trained Defensive players for 16 Games a season is hell, especially on young QBs.

Hansborough will have a better NBA Career than many give him credit for, that white boy has a motor and hustles like hell, plus he's quicker and more athletic than many brothas will give him credit for, it is much easier for him to develop a 16-18 foot Jumper and be a factor in the NBA, than it is for Tebow to learn how to be an NFL QB in a Pro-Style Offense against NFL-Caliber Defenders.

If I had to pic, Hansborough. Nothing against Tebow but we are talking about quarterbacking in the NFL. If you ask the experts, it is only 7 QB's that you can hang your hat on out of 32 teams. That should explain a few things.

Hansboro more than likely will be on a really sorry team. He will avg. 12 and 7. play for a few teams before he quietly disappears from the NBA. Tebow will be riding some teams bench til the end of his 1st contract. Then he will quietly disappear from the NFL

Tebow is gonna be in the NFL...and I think surprise everybody as a quality QB.

Hansboro will sit on the bench for many years in the NBA...his only job will be to sit and be white.

I think PSYCHO T will surprise a few people.....On the real, after the top 12-15 players in the NBA, the rest of the league are straight (ROLE) type players. His work ethic alone can make make him the next say(Carlos Boozer) whos been an all-star, same type of game....

Psycho T easy. I think he will actually put up 18 and 9 a game. He'll be solid.

no.

Hansborough will be in the league though because he hustles his ass off. He'll be a guy like Kris Humphries from the Toronto Raptors. Thats who he reminds me of.

He'll get rebounds, garbage points, play a little defense and he'll make hustle plays.

You need a guy like that on your team.

His numbers will look more like 8 and 5 off the bench.

This is like asking who'll be better, Eric Crouch, or Christian Laettner.

Gotta go with Hansbrough. He'll suck, but not as much as Tebow.

I don't like either of their chances... Since Duncan left school I look at SENIORS as not good enough otherwise they would have been left for the Pros... And because Tebow lacks the speed to transition or be a SLASH type player he is not going to do shit either... but if I had to pick on I would pick Tyler because you can't teach height and he is 6'9... so at worst he is a Matt Bonner type player who gets to stick around... Tebow on the other hand... well I can't see him lining up in the slot... I can't see him at tailback... he is an athlete maybe safety (on practice squad... hehe)

TIM TEEBOW AFTER THEY COVERT HIS ASS TO A TIGHTEND HE'LL MAKE A BETTER PRO FOOTBALL PLAYER. HANSBORUGH WILL MAKE A BETTER SECRETARY IN THE NBA.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Tim Tebow = Eric Crouh
Tyler Hansborough = Nick Collison

Yep!! You know wat you talking about:yes::yes::yes::yes:
or
Tim Tebow = alex smith
Tyler Hansborough = Jeff foster lot of hustle decent shot!

Tyler a 10 and 10 player off the bench

See how quick JJ redick and Adam Morrison fell off!! This will be even quicker!!:lol:

if hansbrough can't even average 10 rebounds a game in college playing 35 minutes a game (check the stats) there's no way he's doing that in the nba...especially since he'll be playing 15-20 minutes a game (at best).

best case scenario: he lasts until the late first round, and ends up being a 7th or 8th man energy/crowd favorite for a good team (think leon powe)

Good prediction for his career-high night in the NBA... I saw him the first time he came in the league, when he used to call himself Mark Madsen:hmm:

being a tar heel fan, i cringe at some of these comments. but i have to keep it real. hansbrough wont be an all-star, most likely not a starter, but since most of the nba players who are gifted athletically often take plays off, he will always have a place as an energy guy, especially when the coach is pissed about how they're team is not hustling or playing hard. career backup

here's the anatomical thing about hansbrough that leads me to believe that his career is not gonna last. he's bow legged - or at least he runs like he is. this places a lot of unusual stress on the knee joint, ankle, and shins. and especially for the high energy game that he plays - any fall off from his athleticism and he won't be good enough to simply stay in the league. i think he's gonna have a lot of leg injuries and have a short injury plagued career. also at his size he doesn't have a position in the league so he'll be a better fit for the small ball teams like golden state of the knicks or somebody. and the knicks already got david lee who's ten times better and a lefty.

tebow hasn't shown NFL caliber QB play yet but he's a big strong dude. if he's willing to change positions - he can have a decent career as a safety or even linebacker. even as a QB as long as he plays his position he can have a long career as a backup.

so on the strength of probability - because tebow can play multiple positions - i gotta say tebow. real talk, both will probably be buns in the L.

leon powe is a good athlete and explosive my nig. you're giving hansbrough too much credit. lol

In the coliseum in sohh, someone made a thread imagining Tyler Hansborough's uncoordinated ass dominating the NBA with his doofy ass moves.

That shyt was pure, unadulterated comedy.
