I considered a dual-degree program years ago that would have led to a PhD, but that was my ego more than anything. I'm so ready to be done with school it's bananas.

I thought for Psychiatry one recieved a PhD en passant to the MD. At one point I wanted to be a Psychiatrist, but I'm not willing to go to med school.
MD or DO then a 3-4 yearResidency in Psychiatry. No Ph.D. unless you want to obtain one in something like psycho pharmacology or physiology.
psych is one of my two majors....med school is frightening as an idea....but who knows for me.
