How can I break up a file to upload on rapidshare?

FUCK HJ Split. No need for that shit. You can split files that don't need a separator. Listen to me and you can split files that join automatically and everybody will love you for it.

How to split files so that they join AUTOMATICALLY
If you have WinRaR, simply right click on the file and scroll down to "ADD TO ARCHIVE". You can change anything in the Archive Name except .rar
Set the "COMPRESSION METHOD" to Fastest. Set "Split to volumes, bytes" to 98,078k - ZIP-100. This will make each file 95.7 MB. Rapidshare changed their file size limit in July from 100MB to 200MB. So now you can upload a file that is 200 MB. If the file is 220 MB and you want to put it on rapidshare then it will split into two files (one file 200 MB, the other 20 MB), when you click OK. When the files are unzipped they will combine AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT the use of HJ Split.
However, if you have a file that is 199 MB, that same "Split to volumes, bytes" you have to manually change the split size by typing in 200m (meaning 200 megabytes). Approx. 208,000 KB equals 200 MB. So, type in 200m OR 200mb. If you have a file that is 620 MB then manually type in 200m, it will give you three 200MB files and one 20MB file. (It depends on your system. On my laptop, if I type in 100m it will make 100,000 little files. However, if I type in 100mb it will split each file into 100 MB files). So just watch to see what your own system does.
If you do it like that you can split the files into whatever size you need WITHOUT having to use HJ Split. If you do it right you will see .part1 ; .part2 after each file that split.

GOW......I used winrar with the settings but still got like 15 files for one entire dvd!
How big is the file?
In the bottom left and corner go to Split to volumes, bytes.
You can type in what size you want each split file to be. If it's a 400 mb clip and you want to split it into 2 just type "200 mb" in the box.
