WOOO WOOOOOOO

That tells me you didn't watch the vid!:hmm::confused::lol::lol:

Ok - I watched it. It was towards the end - about 3 seconds of footage. He dropped in a small block Chevy.

But that sort of defeats the purpose of buying and RX-7 :dunno:

Just get a C5 Corvette then.

So, the sound is coming out of your car speakers and the only one that can hear it is you? :hmm:

Understandable but plenty of people prefer a classic rx-7 shell than the c5s, don't ask me why :smh::lol:

^^^Yes, I saw that on the back end. It's only in like 3 seconds of the video where you finally see the engine.

But again - why would you take a light, high revving - twin turbo rotary and shove in a heavier, low revving V8?

torgue my friend, torgue.
Yes 13b rev high, but without a good street port, haltek and big turbo it's tame.
Drop in a torque monster like the LS1 with a T-56 6 speed tranny and you have a car that's almost 50-50 in weight distribution, looks good and is way more fun to drive.

Next you're going to ask why we put LS1's in Nissan 240's and k Series in hatchbacks too?

Mazda didnt compensate for the added heat when adding the second turbo to the 3rd gen RX7. Even if you take good care of the car, the rotary engine tends to blow around 50000 miles and will keep blowing engines. Some people decide to go with an LT1 or LS1. Bad ass car and a lot more rare to see one than the dime a dozen corvette.

Maybe I missed something, but how does it sound outside of the car? Is it just something to make you feel you are driving something more powerful?
