tough gig, maybe she should try construction. I hear it's easier on the back.

Only one I know to be decent is Melissa and her impersonations.

Bro you joking but...

Do not think that type of physical comedy is easy. A lot of those type of comedians have life long pain like pro athletes

I'm sure there's pitfalls to all work, I'm also sure none of them would trade places with the average working man so they can keep their "my body was tired" to themselves lol:giggle:

I ain't saying that

But now with meeting more people in different roles...

I don't just dismiss stuff like that.

A lead actor on a hour long series is under insane pressure both mental and physical

A pediatric surgeon mentally

An NFL corner or offensive line man

A er nurse

A professional touring ballet dancer

A high rise construction worker

A pro middle weight boxer

A large airline lead pilot

Air force pilot

They all in a room gonna salute and respect the other cause all that takes a huge toll mentally and physically

And MOST couldn't go a week

I would never act like doing SNL like SHE was in damn near every skit every week ain't hard work.

Lorne Michaels is gearing up for a transitional season of Saturday Night Live after a massive cast shakeup ahead of Season 48. The NBC sketch comedy series lost a total of 8 cast members and Michaels is talking about how that came about.
“We got to a point where we had a lot of people, and people weren’t getting enough playing time,” he told the New York Times in an interview. “The way the series has survived is by that level of renewal. The price of success is that people go off and do other things; their primary obligation is to their talent and to keep pushing that.”
Michaels also added that the pandemic “interfered” with the “natural time” for some of the comics to say goodbye to the show adding, “We try to do the best with the cast that was there, and at the same time, my first responsibility is to keep the show fresh. Things grow stale. I don’t think we’d gotten stale, because the people we had were so gifted and at their peak.”

‘SNL’: Lorne Michaels Addresses Season 48 Cast Changes, Reveals There Will Be At Least Four New Castmembers
Deadline revealed back in May that Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney were leaving the late-night show at the end of the season along with Pete Davidson. Ahead of the Season 48 premiere, it was revealed that Melissa Villaseñor, Alex Moffat and Aristotle Athari were not returning either with Chris Redd also exiting the show.
However, the new season will see the addition of four new comedians with Marcello Hernández, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker joining the SNL cast. Michaels told NYT that he feels the new cast members “are fresh.”
“They bring things we don’t have and they’re complementary to the people we already have,” Michaels explained. “The new people could last for years. They’re not load-bearing walls. They’re not yet what they’re going to be, but at least half of the fun of watching the show is watching people that are beginning and discovering them.”
One of the segments on the show that will not be changing is “Weekend Update,” which is hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che. Michaels noted that he needs “that part to be as solid as it is” ahead of the midterm elections this year.
Saturday Night Live Season 48 premieres on October 1 with Miles Teller hosting and Kendrick Lamar as the musical guest.

No, Cecily Strong did not quietly leave Saturday Night Live

Fans were quick to panic after the fan-favorite was notably absent from the season 48 premiere opening credits.

Fear not, Cecily Strong hive! The comedian is still very much a part of Saturday Night Live.
Following a number of cast departures ahead of season 48, the fan-favorite was notably absent from the opening credits during the Oct. 1 premiere with host Miles Teller and musical guest Kendrick Lamar. Fans were quick to notice and wonder if Strong pulled an Irish exit after nine seasons on the show, but EW can confirm that the SNL staple intends to return.

Strong's absence can be attributed to her role in the revival of the one-woman show The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, which is several thousands of miles away from 30 Rockefeller Plaza's studio 8H in New York. Thus, the Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started A Conversation With at a Party will rejoin her castmates once the show concludes its run on Oct. 23.

Her performance in playwright Jane Wagner's examination of American society and the feminist movement has already garnered rave reviews, with EW's Maureen Lee Lenker declaring Strong "a radiant successor" to Lily Tomlin, who headlined the original 1985 Broadway hit and 1991 film adaptation from director John Bailey.
"One-person shows are great feats of acting — the precision, the stamina, and the memorization required staggering in and of themselves (not to mention, the task of holding the audience's attention completely on your own)," Lenker writes. "But Strong takes that all a step further, morphing from one character to the next with a stunning alacrity and physical totality that is rather breathtaking in its sleight of hand."

In Strong's temporary absence, SNL has welcomed new cast members Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker following the departures of Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Chris Redd, Pete Davidson, Aristotle Athari, Alex Moffat, and Melissa Villaseñor. Returning cast members include Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, Michael Che, Colin Jost, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Andrew Dismukes, Punkie Johnson, James Austin Johnson, and Sarah Sherman.

Why it gotta be cold outside bro?

:roflmao3:

It's fucking cold here right now, Playa. We had everything yesterday - rain, snow, sunshine & sleet.

Snow early this morning and light off / on snowfall during the daytime. Nothing extreme like colder provinces and states, but that arctic air in these days ahead always fucks with the comfortability.

And Cecily can get the Strong pipe.

That's my $0.02.
