Brothers as a reminder and heads up for those who don't know, there are no prerequisites to sit for the CompTIA exam. If you are determined, you can sit for the 1001 and 1002 exams in 2 months starting from knowing nothing. Having a degree in anything will help you get a job quicker, but it is not needed.

There are plenty of resources on BGOL that can get you through the first few certifications.

Your first job, you will not be expected to know much and you will learn a lot while on the job.

My goal is to have my sons begin getting certified as they turn 13. Why? Because no matter what field they choose, including medicine, having IT certs make them more valuable.

Some are saying the Google certs are worthless and CompTIA is still the standard.
The Google certificates are for those trying to get on at Google or use their products. I would definitely advise a more comprehensive program, (e.g. coding bootcamp - which can be damn near free in some communities if RUN by a non profit and students meet the criteria)

I’m just now getting into the tech space but it is so much opportunity for our people because of the ideas we have. It is just a matter of learning the coding skills to make it come to life.

You can be certified under age 18?

That doesn't make sense, I'm overqualified to be honest with my degree and certs but thanks, got a interview this week again...

I do think Florida is alot of the problem honestly.

Project Management averages 93,000 and Google counts this certification as much as a 4 year degree.

Wait a minute.

You're talking about security officer jobs one thread and now you feel overqualified to get these certs for 90k positions?

Aiight bro, best of luck in your search.

I have the Project + certification, I don't have the Project Management, I have exactly

CCNA, A, N, S, Project+, AWS Cloud Practioner, ITILv3, Linux Essentials

Okay let me look into it, I am completely lost at most of this.

How can I see how to pay for this?

WIOA program?

Can I use this since I'm not working? I had a coursera account.

I don't know what the issue with me is, I got this degree and nothing really changes, maybe environment needs to change.

Tell you the truth, I'm just mentally defeated I don't know anymore, maybe it's just not it?

I can't even think of what to do next?

The CompTIA A+, N+ couldn't get me even on a helpdesk

I'm just lost... the school is "online" so no one is actually there to network with.

Handshake is shit, no one responds and just spam

I am tired...

This is $49 a month, I can get this and see what else pops up.
