Everybody makes mistakes. That is part of the human condition. However, also part of the human condition is responsibility and recompense for the mistake. And there are different levels. Littering is not equivalent to homicide - which itself has multiple levels - and is not adjudicated as such.
To simply dismiss homicide, no matter how unintended, as a simple mistake is beyond ridiculous.

wash: as in washington whose face is on the quarter aka twenty-five cents aka 25
so a cold wash is 25 years without parole
