Man "Enta da stage" is an underrated classic album...

up here during that era all we fucked with was Black moon, Smoothe da hustla, M.O.P, Bootcamp Klick, Mobb deep and Wu Tang...

"crooklyn dodgers" is still my shit too
I’ve let my son listen to Chubb’s verse since he was 6. I usually remind him about the election of Johnny Boy. I smirk quoting that’s when they blew his head off, and remind my son Nixon was part of the Eisenhower Administration. I usually go through a few decades of economic history and then I hit him with the song White Lines by Grandmaster Flash. There’s a line in the song about a white man getting caught with an ungodly amount of drugs only to be released before dinner time. And then I wrap it up with how Temple was able to expand its territory.

Queens had a wave and most of them didn't take advantage of it cause they were looking for record deals instead of doing the independent thing heating up the streets like 50 did.

They were too busy bickering and fighting amongst each other and when Nas came with Destroy and rebuild it put the nail in the cuffin

I can't remember what magazine might of been the source but it basically told a little bit about the history of Ruck and Sean Price and how Sean P the founder and leader of the Decepticons which was an offshoot of the Lo Lifes which there's now little tibbits of stuff out there on them.

To be honest,Biggie probably thought he was too fly to go at BCC and junior mafia thought they were some backpack rappers and after jumping Starang wonder dude he said he went to his brothers(BCC) for help they were like we're rappers now we done left the streets.

There should be some bgol members on here who are 70's babys that should remember or come across these guys at some point in the late 80's and early 90's

Man you’re preaching. Mobb Deep NEVER blew the way they should have, wasted the prime years and albums on Jive, by the time they got on G-Unit their shine and allure had been dulled and they sounded like they were trying to hang on for dear life to past underground glory. But man, they had a 4 year run that was nothing short of unreal, another decent 4-5 years after that (Amerikaz Nightmare was lowkey underrated).
