Imagine how many rings LeBron would have if his teams played the Nets, Pacer, 76ers, Magic and the same Celtic team a young LeBron and nobody gave fits to, instead of them playing the Warriors, a loaded OKC team and the Spurs...
He did loose to a Dallas team he had no business losing too so it's safe to say one of those other teams could have beaten him again. Not likely but anythings possible. Not taking anything away from him though.

They should have lost to the Mavericks team with that incomplete line up that Heat team had...

If the shots don't fall, ok. It happens... even if they stick with it and don't drive... but Curry out there throwing behind the back passes near the sidelines in game 7 of the Finals? come on man.. that's absurd.. that's incredibly low basketball IQ... I mean the old JR Smith wouldn't even do that shit.
It's only bad IQ when it doesn't work though. They played this same exact way last year and got a ring.

Curry didn't show up every night and just have one bad game. He got completely outplayed by Irving too.

Iggy was hurt. Barnes aint shit but a role player who only started because of injuries.... the Warriors just needed their superstar to have an average game tonight and he scored half his season average, lead the team in PFs and TOs, committed two stupid turnovers down the stretch, and got cooked by Kyrie on the game winner.

Curry was bad. No debate about that. I'm just saying Y'all spent all year talking about how Curry doesn't deserve MVP because he has a great team around him but when the Finals come y'all don't use that same argument for why these cats shouldn't be losing to the damn Cavs. He plays for the deepest team in the league....where they at?

You talking about the Dallas team that beat the heat? That team was on a roll in the playoffs. They beat all the good teams, they swept the Lakers an beat Okc 4-1. That was a well rounded team.

Nah. That team was still better than Dallas overall.

Thats because you are looking at the game as if it were a video game and ignoring the match ups...
Think about it, that Heat team had no outside shooters, and no size in then paint and they went against a team with two 7foot starters that played along side of Shawn Marion, with that much size all they did was play zone packing the paint thereby eliminating the driving lanes for both Wade and James.. After that season the Heat made it a point to carry some outside shooters to free up the paint...

He CAN pass the GOAT in my opinion

Give it time

Coming back to Cleveland and winning was huge for his legacy

Yeah, Lebron is still writing his legacy down. Had to end that 'he isn't the best player' anymore talk. Making a chip dynasty in Cleveland would go a long way with GOAT arguments. Cavs need to make some offseason moves though. Moving Love for some pieces would make this team better.

Curry wasn't bad. Stop with that stuff. Barnes was bad. Curry wasn't himself. He really wasn't himself this entire playoffs.

You want him to win another title? He just came back from 3-1, I guess you won't respect it unless is 3-0 lead.

To me, he is GOAT. The title he won is great. If he adds to it, fine. If he doesn't, fine. That 2007 team he led to the finals and those other teams he led to 65 wins speak volumes about how he affects the game. He led an injury plagued team to the finals last year and got 2 games. Isn't this the second time he won a title leading his team in EVERYTHING. Damn. And he actually was the real MVP of one of the final losses.

Greats? Or really good? And magic was old as hell in 91. I believe drex and mr AIDS are the only two to be champions.
Magic lakers went to finals that year and were favored; drexler again was great; payton again was great; Barkley was great; if u don't think Stockton and Malone were great well then we don't need to communicate anymore.. those players were considered great in their eras and four of them are top 50 all-time..all are ranked top 10 at their respective positions..not too mentioned he played against Isiah miller Ewing etc etc..lbj is doing his thing but mj did his ass well;please let's not be foolish

should've left out the 13 seasons vs. 9...undermines your argument and makes it clear it's not a fair comparison...to be fair you'd have to compare LBJ's 1st 13 seasons to MJ's first 13 but of course you have an agenda...so there's that

Its totally fair. Jordan wasnt good enough to come into the league at the age LeBron was. Not his fault.

*runs outta thread before they come get me for talking bad about their hero*

Whats funny is Kobe fans used to make the exact opposite argument because his first couple years out of HS he came off the bench and took time to develop. So it brought his averages down. Bron came out the gates running and shouldnt have to apologize MJ needed to go to UNC to get to this level.

That was funny...

till I remembered like 3 knicks playoff wins

And before ya'll cosign this?

Try real hard to remember if your favorite team EVER benefitted from a call.

I'll wait.
Only 3 players in NBA history have won more trophies than LeBron James

LeBron James
pulled off the unthinkable, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to an NBA championship after trailing 3-1 in the series. James was also named NBA Finals MVP, raising the number of trophies he has won in his career to 13, tying him with Magic Johnson among players who have won at least one league MVP award, and trailing only Michael Jordan (22), Bill Russell (17), and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (15).

Of course, recent players have an advantage when it comes to trophies. The Defensive Player of the Year award has only been around since 1982-83 and the NBA didn't start naming Finals MVPs until 1968-69. Bill Russell won his final championship during the 1968-69 season, and it is safe to say he would probably have at least ten more trophies if both of those awards were available in his day. Of course, there were also only eight teams in the NBA when Russell won his first title, so there was less of a challenge to win championships.

Still, James is now in some pretty elite company, and at 31 years old, he probably still has a few peak seasons left in the tank.

Jordan was such a phenomenal player... GOAT by a landslide! Damn, didn't know he shit on the rest of NBA history like this! No one is remotely close to him! WOW!!! JUST WOW!!!
