Shiiit, he also doesn't have Kentucky or even Louisville talent. They're a tourney team and St John's has been shit for two decades.
He brought in basically the entire team last season and he reloaded and brought in a bunch of transfers this season that were highly regarded like Kadary Ritchmond and Deivon Smith. As a Hall of Fame coach he should elevate them. He's not going to get the same players that he got at Kentucky or Louisville. Those programs typically get top players regardless of the coach.
