Right now, the storm has to go near Tampa if it dips south then west palm would have more to worry about in West Palm Beach but right now you just have to worry about a little bit of wind and rain. Pay attention to the path of the system, and if it dips south, then you have to make a gametime decision.Should I be scared in West Palm Beach? Looks like it's gonna murder the whole state
Yeah, this storm now is on everybody radar
If it comes over top of Tampa, the ocean is going to fuck that city up. Helen just drove by and fucked them up.I’ll be through this evening with some updates. I figured it was going to be a depression today. Im moving so I’m not around my computer.
My prediction is a cat 3, 125 mph. Should be a fast mover through Florida.
Yo, I’m seeing a lot of news reports that a lot of people are abandoning certain parts of Florida right now so I’m glad I don’t have a house in that stateIt’s every year, man. I couldn’t deal with that shit.
And the Republicans, who control Congress, i.e. the US house don’t want to hurry backRumor: FEMA does not have enough money to provide disaster assistance for Helene.
October 3, 2024
Fact:
FEMA has enough money right now for immediate response and recovery needs. If you were affected by Helene, do not hesitate to apply for disaster assistance as there is a variety of help available for different needs.

If I’m in Tampa area especially near the coast I would be gone right now. Hurricane Helen just passed by and fucked up that area.Milton will likely become a hurricane today. Forecast models agree this storm will reach major hurricane strength, indicating a possible category 5. The latest track has shifted south and may continue to move south. There is still uncertainty about the landfall location. Tampa Bay my be spared the worst, but the people should prepare for the worst.
If it was currently raining, I would say that’s good news, but all of that part of Florida the ground is extremely saturated so when the water is come in, it’s going to come in hardI have three close friends in Tampa. The bad news is, they're hard headed as fuck and have been through so many storms that they don't get scared. The good news is none of them are right on the water.
Also, remember this area was also affected by Hurricane Ian in 2022.

Yep, one thing that happens is that some people don't take one hurricane seriously, so when the next one hits they freak out and start panic buying everything.
