Full confession

I do love the Weather Channel coverage when these things go down.

It's their Super Bowl and it shows. They really love this shit.

They fight so hard to hide their admiration of a superstorm to not seem insensitive to the locals lol.
Their phone app sucks though...two many adds

Hurricane Milton is back to a cat 5 and up to 165 mph. Man, I hope those folks in Tampa left.

Sorry man but fuck them Miami Cubans

Unlike other Hispanic registered voters in the United States, most Cuban Americans identify as Republican – a pattern that could have electoral implications as President Donald Trump seeks to recapture the important swing state of Florida this year.
Nationwide, 58% of Cuban registered voters say they affiliate with or lean toward the Republican Party

A bit of good news for the Tampa Bay area.

Similar to Hurricane Ian, the GFS model predicts a more southerly track. If this holds, then the city will be out of the worst-case scenario.

Yeah, good news for Tampa bad news for Fort Myers area which is still recovering from Ian and Helene storm surge. There’s nobody going to be left in Fort Myers after this storm passes through.
