yea, atleast let some games get played before ranking teams, TCU might not even win 5 games this year lol. Seen alot teams ranked high at beginning of the season and by end of the season not top 25 or barely bowl elgible.

One of my biggest gripes with college football is preseason rankings. Rankings shouldn't come out until week 4 at the earliest. Does anybody believe Clemson was the 9th best team? Or LSU the 5th best team? It inflates the stats of the team that beat them. When in reality they should have never been ranked that high to begin.
Duke has a win over a top ten team. But who did Clemson beat to be ranked in the top ten? Just having a decent recruiting class doesn't make them an elite team. This was the same with Texas A&M last year.
I'll wait for the CFP rankings before I decide a team is top ten. Michigan playing ECU, UNLV & Bowling Green is a joke. They're the 2nd ranked team in the country. Georgia gets no pass from my rant. UT Martin, Ball State & UAB in the first 4 weeks of the season. Your number 1 team in the country. Disgraceful.
I look forward when the SEC plays at least 9 conference games. No championship team should have an FCS team on their schedule. Especially in November. Rant over.

I agree. I am not saying people should not get excited and giving the naysayers the biz. But you have shows like Undisputed saying they will beat USC and Oregon lol.
