They had every opportunity to win that game, so they did deserve the ending. And I hate to say it, but my Baltimore Ravens was almost in the same boat yesterday. Eberflus was just on Kap & JHood morning show and they asked him why he didn't take a timeout - we had all 3 - before the last HM play to get the the guys adjusted and focused (which would have likely gotten Stevenson in place too).
Eberflus said "we didn't need a TO guys, we were all set..." .. "we just need to execute that last play as practiced (yadda yadda)"

He's getting killed by Rex Ryan
Rightfully so. I like the dude, good DC (we still haven't given up 21+ points in x amount of games)... but if we can't start fast or finish games because of coaching than nothing else matters.
I also think he's being too soft on his coaches (Waldron) and players (Tyrique). But hope he's putting on that face publicly and getting on their asses behind closed doors (no diddy). But I honestly can't call it at this point.
He's coming off as being all too happy with moral victories. NO motherfucka, you need to WIN games!
I disagree with him not taking responsibility in the past, but him stressing "the positives" the way he does is kind of maddening. I watch a lot of his interviews and he does it the same way, def lots of media speak, but it still comes off as semi-delusional.

At the very end, Orlovsky says that Stevenson was turned around talkin shit to the crowd on the 2nd to last play too, and our staff didn't notice or think to call a TO to get him right (when McLauren made that catch to put them in position for the HM).

Another bad loss by Eberflus, the coaching in this game was absolutely pathetic! Their coaching decisions cost these players the game...
Wild to hear a player so publicly questioning the coaching decisions.
Problem is this ain’t the first time he’s been in his emotions during a game. Matter of fact, he got a 15 yarder for unsportsmanlike conduct in this game before his clusterfuck of a last play.
Honestly, he’s talented, but if there was someone close to him on the depth chart, if Eberflus really wanted to send a message, he’d sit him down this week.
