Yeah, gentrification can happen to white people I seen it actually in Georgia. When they want something, they don’t care who’s there they’re going to get rid of you. Middle and poor white people find out they are not in the same boat as the rich right people in a hurry.

You’ll pay for the LA fires even if you don’t live near LA

Regulators in many states are allowing insurance companies to raise rates to cover the cost of events that insurers have had to pay elsewhere, as well as increasing the money for things like the rising cost of reinsurance, which insurance firms purchase to limit their risks of major catastrophic events.

State Farm seeks an emergency insurance rate increase after LA wildfires. It’s the latest blow to California’s housing market

In a letter to California’s Commissioner of Insurance, Ricardo Lara, State Farm said it has already received more than 8,700 claims and paid over $1 billion to customers in the wake of the wildfires.
