One of my favorite moments that no one addresses. After the chairman hits the lady on the ground, the woman beside them, with the ponytail, was so happy and amped up. She was like "Yeahhhh! dats what I'm talkin bout!"
This explains alot. These women did libations prior to the brawl. It was already ancestral energy in that place.....
Go watch any of Bobby Hemmitt's videos where he talks about how powerful we are when we pray in numbers....We can damn near move mountains....
Man black people are so powerful....
LOL - man my Uncle put my family on Bobby years ago...I think I was in college, but his videos are powerful....First off what yo know about bobby...
Next your right the gave honor to them ancestors!
Another thing someone posted some white kat a few pages back and he said how sacred that ground area is...which i dont know much about it, but i just thought the white kat was just talking stuff.. but when you show our beautiful sistas and they are beautiful, lets get that straight...it just confirm to me that area is very sacred grounds..so much history of our is everywhere.. but so much history is distorted or just not well know to us...appreciate the drop!
Yeah that was powerful! Basically they were doing rituals without even knowing it...like u said the storms were confirming we hear you and we got your backs and thanks for remembering us!!Man they got to talking and by the end of the night it was a powerful storm like a damn tornado was coming through...Even water was dripping from the roof....That Saturday it was sunny day, but between like 7pm -9pm you would have thought the damn world was coming to the end...That was just the energy from the ancestors....
All I could think about was Bobby and how he mentions when black people are together in numbers, the power we can exuberate is enormous
People don't know this, but the African American Museum in DC is built on sacred grounds.....The architect that designed, who is black, built it on a site where they sold slaves in DC......There is a waterfall inside which represents the tears of our ancestors being sold into slavery
Well your uncle is a great man for sharing that with you!! I ran into bobby video in my first awakening..i didnt even know what he was saying half the time but i could hear the black power stuff! Which that kept me in tune if nothing else! But now im the shit!
Yeah that was powerful! Basically they were doing rituals without even knowing it...like u said the storms were confirming we hear you and we got your backs and thanks for remembering us!!
Naw bruh i would have never known, but from what i have learned plenty of buildings around the united snakes are just like that, built on sacred ground! Many of us are just not aware! Thankz for making me aware though!
Disappointing

Yeah that area is definitely sacred grounds....
I tell people this story all the time....Carl Nelson use to do this Black Conference at Union Temple Baptist Church in SE, DC...About 4 blocks down the street from Frederick Douglas house in Washington, DC....IT was called Power Talk... Union Temple is a Super Black church....The most afro centric baptist church I have ever seen in my life...
I think it was Power Talk #1 or #2 and he had Baba Dick Gregory, Dr. Claud Anderson, Dr. Umar Johnson, Rev. Dr. Willie Wilson, Dr. Anthony Tony Browder, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Dr. Jim Clingman, Dr. Booker T Coleman, Sis. Merira Kwesi, Dr. Patricia Newton, Bro. Ray Fauntroy.

Ya Know...
We're all having laughs, Celebrating, coming up with all sorts of Memes,
And Hell..
That Co-Captain, The Swimming Youngblood, and his other Rescuers are even getting WHITE Social Media Love and Support.
But My questions are...
Do some of Y'all really celebrate this as some type of "Victory"?
Is this a "One-Off" Thing?
And where you like/love to see this situation go from here for US?
Is this going to morph into something that's beneficial to US?
Or something worse?
Like some form of WHITE Retaliation?
(Which is delusional not to expect. Not like it hasn't been happening for over some centuries anyway).
And are we seriously ready?
Historically,
In that state of Alabama,
Considering its Racist History?
And how Drunken White folks leads to Lynching?
WIN-WIN!!!
But Afterwards?
Just posing some questions and thoughts, Peeps.
Want to see where Y'all thoughts are at a few days later.
That last paragraph....is deep. Been to the museum but never knew that fact about the tears. Just wow!LOL - man my Uncle put my family on Bobby years ago...I think I was in college, but his videos are powerful....

And the irony is.....it's called independence Ave but was anything but for our peopleYeah man, next time you go, go to the waterfall and meditate.....Pray to your ancestors...
What's crazy is that indenpendce ave in DC is the same route (it runs parallel to the museums) that the slaves walked from the Wharf to the national mall which has a few areas on it that were auction blocks...

Been saying this dude is a coon buffoon. They’re flaming him in the comments.
Yoooo look at this video. Look at the dude in the khaki pants. That's the kid that swam across the water. He swam over AND hit someone with a rock bottom!!
