They have it all over the coast, The Gambia down to Nigeria. Some are hugeI have personally never seen Red Snapper eaten or on a menu anywhere in Africa. From my experience the people of Africa eat Tilapia most by far. Red Snapper isn't even generally caught off the coasts of Africa, but are found more in the US Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea. Now if we were talking about Central America, oh hell yeah, Red Snapper is the catch of the day!
