I feel like Rachel has been more spicy since she's been going through the stuff with her Ex-Husband. I like Van too and I'll admit that I was surprised by his take about Schultz, At least they acknowledge that they have friends that they go easy on and I'm willing to give them latitude on this, but hopefully it gets better moving forward.

This. I appreciate Van calling out his own bias. But that doesn't absolve him of common sense or decency.
And the real issue is as a public figure it locks you in a very awkward position
And labels you a hypocrite and an unserious person if it continues
The longer you in this industry? The more "friends" you gonna have. So basically you can't say sh*t about anyone.
And if you EXCUSE Schultz now? You can't ever call out anyone else without making some bullsh*t excuse how his racism is DIFFERENT.
Wrong is wrong. I don't really watch their show since the Schultz thing specifically because it was painful to watch Van tap dance for a nazi mustache wearing Maga white boy.
And his co host tried to defend that patently absurd Jay Z case to such a dumb ass degree it gave me a migraine.
Seeing the hypocrisy on all these "black media" podcasts has really turned me off.
